HKUST CIVL postgraduate student awarded Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship 2007-2008

Our postgraduate student Mr HO Yin Bon (Picture: Ho and Lady Youde, first and third from the right respectively) has achieved outstanding academic achievements and was awarded Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship 2007-2008 for PhD studies at HKUST. A certificate of the Fellowship was presented by Lady Youde to Mr Ho at the 21st Awards Presentation Ceremony held at Hong Kong City Hall this April. Bon is currently a PhD candidate in the department and conducting research on the seismic vulnerability assessment of tall buildings.
