Prof J S Kuang won The HKIE Best Transactions Paper Prize 2016

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) announced that Prof J S Kuang and his co-author Prof Terry Y P Yuen have won The HKIE Best Transactions Paper Prize 2016. The Prize was presented in the HKIE Presidential Address/Dinner on Friday 26 August 2016. Prof Kuang has won the Prize for a second time. His outstanding research on the design of concrete structures for seismic resistance has also earned him the Telford Premium 2014 and T K Hsieh Award 2006 from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK.
