Prof. Limin Zhang Receives 2023 Ralph B. Peck Award

Prof. Limin Zhang, Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the Ralph B. Peck Award 2023 by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The award presentation ceremony will be held during the ASCE’s Geo-Congress 2023 in Los Angeles, March 26–29, 2023. Prof. Zhang will also deliver the Peck Lecture over the congress.

Established in 1999 by ASCE’s Geo-Institute in honor of Ralph B. Peck, the annual award recognizes outstanding contributions to the geotechnical engineering profession including thoughtful, carefully researched case histories, recommended practices, and design methodologies based on the evaluation of case histories that provide valuable insights into the geotechnical aspects of constructed facilities.
