Prof Jidong Zhao and PhD Graduate Receive the Inaugural 2019 “Scott Sloan Best Paper Award”
Prof. Jidong Zhao and his PhD Graduate Ning Guo have received the Inaugural 2019 “Scott Sloan Best Paper Award” for a paper they published in Computers and Geotechnics in 2013. The named award was established by the Journal and Elsevier in honour of the late Prof. Scott W. Sloan (FRS, FREng), a dedicated editor of the Journal, who passed away in April 2019.
