A Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD Graduate wins the International Huber Technology Prize 2012
Congratulations to Leon H. Lu, Ph.D. graduate in Civil and Environmental Engineering, for winning the prestigious 2012 International Huber Technology Prize in the competition theme of Future Water – Energy from Wastewater. Leon works with Professor Guanghao Chen of our Department, Professor George Ekama of the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and Professor Mark van Loosdrecht of Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands on SANI process development. The award will be presented by the Bavarian Ministry for the Environment in an official ceremony in Munich, Germany at the IFAT environmental technology trade fair on March 8 2012.
