CIEV Graduate Wins Prize for Final-Year Project
Mr. Kwok Wai Pong, BEng graduate in Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIEV), has been named 1st Runner-up in the Environmental Division of the 2019–20 Best Final-Year Environmental Project, organized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). The title of his final-year project was “Development and Design of IoT for Smart Environment on Sensors, Monitors, and RFID Devices for Water Application” and was supervised by Prof. Irene Lo. At the prize-giving ceremony at the HKIE’s headquarters in Causeway Bay on 22 December, 2020, the Chairperson of the Environmental Division presented the award to Mr. Kwok and Prof. Lo.
