Professor Irene Lo's PhD student of EVNG programme, Mr. Zhang Zhen (Simon) received the Best Paper Award at the 2014 International Conference on Soil and Groundwater Environment, 28-30 April, 2014, Seoul, Korea. In this conference, there were more than 300 experts and researchers in soil and groundwater from 15 countries and about 210 presentations. The best paper was selected from 210 presentations and consisted of a certification and USD500 monetary award.
