Prof. Christopher Leung was elected as the Honorary President of RILEM for the Year 2011.

Prof. Christopher Leung was recently elected as the Honorary President of International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM) for the Year 2011.  With over 60 years of history and members from over 70 countries worldwide, RILEM promotes the development and application of sustainable construction materials through the organizing/sponsoring of International Conferences and the formation of Technical Committees.  Reports from RILEM Committees are influential documents as they often become the foundation of local codes or testing standards in various countries.
