Results of Outstanding Alumni Award

The selection of the Outstanding Alumni Award and Outstanding Young Alumni Award has been completed. We are pleased to announce the results:

 Outstanding Alumni Award

Ir Derrick Hung-kwong Leung

Ir Derrick Leung has contributed significantly to the civil engineering construction industry especially in micro-tunneling. He co-established the HKUST Civil and Environmental Engineering Post-Graduate and Scholars Alumni Association, and actively leads initiatives to strengthen and promote the alumni network.

 Prof. Qiang Meng

Prof. Qiang Meng has made important contributions to the area of transportation and logistics, both in terms of research quality and impact to the industry. He is highly regarded by academics and professionals alike, and is known for his active mentorship of HKUST alumni in the academic field.

 Outstanding Young Alumni Award

Mr Terry Kin-chung Tsang

Mr Terry Tsang is recognized for his exemplary technology entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. He is an outstanding alumnus, making many contributions to make HKUST a better place, especially for students in need.
