Prof.Charles Ng was appointed by the President of ISSMGE to be one of the 12 executive members of the Board.

Prof.Charles Ng was recently appointed by the President of International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) to be one of the 12 executive members of the Board.  As the world's largest professional body in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering, ISSMGE has 71 member societies worldwide representing 16,500 individual members. It aims to promote international cooperation among engineers and scientists for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of geotechnics, and its engineering and environmental applications. Since the establishment of the ISSMGE in 1936, Prof. Ng  is the 3rd Chinese being appointed to this executive Board over the last 74 years.
