Prof Kuang and PhD Students Win Best Paper Award

Srinivas Mogili, PhD candidate supervised by Prof J. S. Kuang, has won the Best Paper Award at the 19th International Conference on Civil, Structural and Earthquake Engineering (ICCSEE2017), held in Paris during 18-19 April 2017, for the paper entitled “Seismic behaviour of RC knee joints in closing and opening actions” co-authored by Mogili, Prof Kuang and Nan Zhang, another PhD candidate supervised by Prof Kuang.  This selection of Best Paper was made based on the best combined marks from the paper review and presentation quality appraisal conducted by the Session Chairs at the conference and assessed by the Programme Committee of ICCSEE2017.
