The Geotechnical Group including professors Charles Ng, Gang Wang, Jui-Pin Wang, Yu-Hsing Wang, Limin Zhang and Jidong Zhao ranks world No. 1 in terms of the number of publications in four prestigious international geotechnical engineering journals in the past 10 years (2001-2010). These journals are Geotechnique, Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, Canadian Geotechnical Journal, and Soils and Foundations.
